No, Mr. Rove.
Karl Rove wants to frame the President's illegal domestic warrantless searches as a matter of critical national security.
This isn't an either, or issue, Mr. Rove. We don't have to sacrifice freedom for security.
The President can legally tap phone calls from suspected foreign agents by using the FISA court. FISA court even provides for retroactive requests for a warrant, if the President was concerned about expedience.
There was no NEED for the President to break the law to protect the national security, because there was a legal way to protect national security.
